ABOUT MARIELLE
Marielle Taylor founded Core Aliveness Recovery to help those struggling with dependency on drugs and alcohol--to live healthy, fulfilling lives. Marielle is a professional Recovery Coach trained in somatic techniques as well as being a Substance Use Disorder Counselor IV based in Sonoma County.
Marielle has worked as a clinician in residential and outpatient treatment centers in California since 2011. She utilizes transformative holistic tools, compassionate communication and compelling leadership in her private sessions and groups.
Her own personal journey in drug and alcohol recovery began when she got honest enough to admit her struggle while in a master's program for Spiritual Psychology at the University of Santa Monica in 2000. It was the death of her beloved father that inspired her to get sober and to devote her life to helping others. As a Licensed Agape Spiritual Practitioner, Marielle facilitated Freedom Path for 7 years, a weekly support circle empowering participants to transform their fears into courageous actions and constructive choices. She studied somatic techniques and in 2012 became a Certified Core Energetics Practitioner. In July of 2022 she founded Core Aliveness Recovery.
